|
Since Abrikossoff first reported five cases of granular celll tumor of the tongue in 1926, this tumor has been reported in many different locations throughout the body.
The purpose of this paper is to discuss the clinical and pathologic features in a cases of granular cell tomor of the esophagus. A case of granular cell tumor of the esophagus is reported. This 36-Year-old female patients was admitted to the
hospital
because of vomiting. She was revealed esophageal mass on gastrofibroscopy and demonstrated granular cell tumor in histopathologic examination of esophageal biopsy. (Korean J Gastroenterol 1994 ; 26 : 327-331)
